Mentoring
We offer one-on-one and group mentoring using “The Life Framework” a product of SLC Training & Development Inc., community-building workshops, and opportunities to connect with other organizations, employers and community resources to help women identify and work toward their goals in education, career, and life.

Domestic violenceand sexual violenceservice providers may offer: 24-hour hotlines, legal advocacy, counseling, emotional support, information and referral services, transitional housing, emergency shelter and assistance with appointments to court or the hospital for a forensic rape exam.
Advocates understand the different systems you may interact with: Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Family Court, Social Services, Healthcare and Community Resources.

New York State is committed to reducing suicide rates and providing support for those affected by suicide. For immediate support, individuals can call or text 988 or chat online. If a life is in danger, please call 911. The state also offers a Safety Plan Template to help individuals create a plan to feel safe if they think about harming themselves.

The Family Justice Center of Erie County provides services and support to individuals in unhealthy relationships, and the education our community needs to break larger cycles of relationship abuse. Our comprehensive and collaborative service model tears down barriers to service, enabling our clients to heal and cultivate hope.
